2020 Tata Blackbird Next SUV Fill Gap Between Nexon and Harrier

This new SUV of Tata will be known as Globally Blackbird. The company will launch this Tata Blackbird SUV to fill the gap between its Nexon and Harrier. But it is expected that the company can use a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine in this SUV which will provide the power of 120 bhp to the car. Besides, in its diesel variant, the company can use a 1.5 liter capacity engine. Tata Blackbird SUV not only compete with Hyundai Crata but will also be able to compete with the upcoming SUV of Maruti Suzuki. In the initial stages, Tata wanted to create this new SUV on its Omega platform, on which Tata Harrier has been prepared. But now the company has planned to make it on its alpha platform and has given it the ‘Blackbird’ code. According to the information received, the SUV will be 4.2 meters long, which will rival to the Hydai’s Creta. It is going to also compete with entry-level variations of this Kia SP2i.  The SUV will be the third largest merchandise to be underpinned by the ALFA platform following the Altroz along with the H2X.

 Though the Tata Blackbird 2020 will not based the OMEGA platform together with the Harrier, its layout will be highly similar to that of those H5X-based SUV.  Dependent on the IMPACT 2.0 platform, the new SUV is going to have multi-tier lighting set up, Humanity Line and daring creases.
