Tata Motors finally removed the curtain in the 2019 Geneva Motor Show from the brand new 7-seater SUV Tata Buzzard. At the moment Tata has given this SUV the H7X codename, in fact this new SUV is the 7-seater version of Tata Harrier and the bazaad is also built on the same Omega Arch platform. Tata Motors also launched the company’s first premium Hatchback ALTROZ and ALTROZ EV with Buzzard, along with Tata showcased the new Micro SUV Concept H2X. Tata has also showcased the Buzzard Sport SUV with the Buzzard SUV, which was launched in India by the name of Tata Harrier. Now the company has introduced this SUV with some changes in exteriors.
The 7-seater SUV also introduced ‘Buzzard Geneva’, which is yet to be named according to the Indian market. At the same time, ‘Buzzard Sport’ was also introduced by the company which has been launched in the Indian market by the name ‘Harrier’. Apart from this, Company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer said that Tata Motors has decided to make its passenger vehicles in line with high safety standards.
Tata Buzzard Engine
The 6-speed (MT) manual gearbox is provided in the SUV introduced at Auto Expo. Speaking of performance, this SUV has given Harrier’s 2.0-liter, Kryotec diesel engine for power. Tata Buzzard engine will generate a maximum power of 170 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm. Along with this it will be given a 6-speed automatic transmission from the Hyundai.
Tata Buzzard Interior & Exterior
The front part of Tata Buzzard is similar to that of Tata Harrier. However, it has provided large roof rails with new alloy wheels, which connect it to the D-pillar through plastic styling. The back part gives it a look like an MPV. Large windshields and restyle LED tail lumps are provided in the rear. The Buzzard logo number is given below on the plate.
Tata Buzzard is similar to that of Cabin Harrier. Its dashboard is similar to Harrier. There are also black theme and wood styling elements. However, the third ‘row’ of the SUV makes it completely different from Harrier. Tata Buzzard will work on the next-generation Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced (OMEGA) architecture. This will be a perfect family SUV.
