TVS Apache is giving ABS updates four bikes out to five. The TVS company has also updated the ABS in Apache RTR 160 4V 2019, along with the only RTR 160 of the RTR lineup is the only bike that does not have the ABS feature. However, after this update the bike prices have been increased. The price of the new RTR 160 4V ABS variant is Rs. 92,645. The price of the bike has increased by Rs 6,500.

The price of non-ABS variants is 86,145 rupees. At the same time, the price of fuel injected ABS variants has also increased. The price of this bike has now increased from Rs 93,145 to Rs 99,645. However, the new bike has not reached dealers yet. According to Autocar’s report, bike may reached with in 1 or 2 weeks. Let ABS be compulsory in the new bike from April 1, 2019. After which non-ABS bikes will be disconnected above 150cc engine.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is the first bike from the company that has been equipped with single-channel ABS System. In contrast, the company has made dual-channel ABS with Apache RTR 180, RTR 200 4V and Apache RR 310. The company will continue to sell Apache RTR 160 4V with the previous disc brakes without ABS until the company changes its security rules. In India, the TVS bikes will compete with 150-200CC segments of bikes, including Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer, Hero Extreme 200R, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and recent launch Yamaha FZ V3.0. Most of these bikes have single-channel ABS.
